Le Petit Hotel Perfect for Exploring Old Montreal

Tucked into a 19th century building on Saint Paul Street West in the heart of Old Montreal, Le Petit Hotel is an absolute gem.
I can truthfully say that I already want to go back and it’s only been a couple of weeks since my stay! Boasting cobblestone streets, an array of cafés, historic architecture, boutiques, and art galleries, Old Montreal is truly European in character – which probably explains why I fell in love so easily.

Wandering the streets of Old Montreal I effortlessly stumbled across the Notre Dame Basilica, Point-a-Calliere Museum, Bonsecours Marche, Place Jacques-Cartier and the St. Lawrence River – all of which are places you won’t want to miss. I don’t think the location of this hotel could be any better, as everything was so readily accessible.
My room at Le Petit Hotel was gorgeous. When I opened the door, music was playing, modern chandeliers were lit and a carpeted staircase brought me up to my chic and well-appointed room.
To my right there was a spacious living room area with a long couch, and a mini dining table with two chairs. To my left there sat a large, incredibly comfortable bed with crisp white linens, a funky bright orange chair, and the bathroom. The rich-colored hardwood laminate flooring tied everything together quite nicely.
The room itself was adorned with modern furniture and fittings, which complimented the exposed brick walls. Next to the bed there was also a huge armoire perfect for storing my jackets and boots and any other unwanted clutter. Perched beside the armoire was a mounted flat screen television and a desk that featured various mini bar treats, and a Nintendo Wii (equipped with a ‘Wii Fit’ for those looking to stay in tip-top shape while they travel).
The bathroom was relatively small, but nicely designed with a large, very impressive multi-jet shower. It also had the coziest white bathrobes known to man-kind (I’m convinced), that came with a hood; making me feel like I could be in a professional boxing match…or maybe just a serious pillow fight.
A complimentary continental breakfast is served on the main floor at this luxury hotel in Montreal, complete with yummy pastries, yogurt, cereal, juice, and fresh fruit. And although the rooms themselves don’t offer a coffee maker, the hotel provides complimentary gourmet coffee in the lobby all day long, and complimentary specialty coffees and espressos all morning. Doesn’t get much better than that!
Sandwiches, home-baked goodies, salads and small desserts can be purchased throughout the day here as well.
Le Petit Hotel would welcome any guest with open arms, but I personally think this hotel is just perfect for couples on a romantic getaway.
The staff here are incredibly warm and welcoming, treating every guest as though they are their top priority, and will go out of their way to make your stay memorable. And that is exactly what my stay was.
